The purpose of our subsidy/grant request is to pilot this initiative in order to validate our nation's need for additional assistance to some of the most vulnerable residents allowing for their inclusion and advancement of their upward mobility affording a higher chance of success. By upward mobility, we offer residents (and employees) the ability to relocate closer to work, into better schools, and safer neighborhoods, ultimately accelerating career pathways for both the adults and their children.
By participating in the "Opportunity Zone Upward Mobility Initiative" ("OZUMI"), we are NOT seeking to create a new government agency or societal burdens on the american taxpayer. We are seeking a grant/subsidy to initiate "OZUMI" in order to improve mobility without an ongoing expense to governmental bodies or agencies. OZUMI creates jobs at the local level that are never outsourced (certainly not to a foriegn country) and are local to the opportunity zoned community.
Kansas City, MO - Metro Location
Upon successful completion of our initial pilot program "OZUMI," IN KANSAS CITY we will seek a national rollout and additional grants/subsidy with additional free move grants to low-income housing authorities focused within "Opportunity Zones". A rollout initiative from the pilot program to a national stage will grant up to 200,000 move grants and provide upwards of 9,300+ employees within cited metro areas and their respective "Opportunity Zones".
Phase 1 thru 5. (up to 135 metro areas)
Apartment Communities throughout our expanding metro network have taken it upon themselves to help others advance their upward mobility!
